Obituary: Warner, Joseph Ray

Age 30

WARNER, Joseph Ray Of Spokane was born on November 2, 1981 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to the parents Raymond and Deborah Warner.

He passed from this world on February 1, 2013 at the age of 31.

He was also known as Growling Joe.

Joseph spent time in Coeur d’Alene, ID, Red Oak, TX, Aztec, NM, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Durango, CO, and Post Falls, ID.

He was a beloved son, friend, and soon to be husband.

Joe loved all and was loved by all.

There wasn’t a person that he didn’t like or was not liked by.

He graduated from Post falls High School in June 2000 where he played football and track.

After school he spent some time in the National Guard.

After basic he worked at Splash and Dash and worked his way up to night manager.

He had surgery in January of 2007 and shortly after was diagnosed with M.S.

It was a struggle for him.

He met Danielle Bryan in 2011.

They became inseparable.

They were to be married this summer.

He is survived by his parents of Post Falls; his grandparents Bob and Jeanne Warner of Post Falls, Kenneth and Gwen Poteet of Red Oak, Texas; his siblings Bethany, Sarah, Jeremiah, Rebekah from McCall, Mark and Jacob Warner all of Post Falls; his aunts, Cherie Murphy of Post Falls, Karen McMillan of Brisco, Texas and Rhonda of Red Oak, Texas; his uncles Keith of Stateline, Idaho, Charles of Red Oak, Texas and William McMillan of Brisco, Texas; his cousins Elizabeth and her husband Brian Buchert, Matthew Morton, Melissa, Courtney, Tristen, and Kaylynn McMillan all of Texas; dillon Murphy of Post Falls; also two second cousins Jayden and Payton Buchert.

There will be a memorial service at the Church of Christ at 17221 East Broadway in Spokane, WA at 1:00 pm.
