Obituary: Weidner, Rose Marie (Sprague)

Age 64

WEIDNER, Rose Marie (Sprague) (Age 64) Rose Marie (Sprague) Weidner of Wenatchee and Spokane, WA, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 of a pulmonary embolism.

Rose was born June 12, 1948 in Wenatchee, WA to Bessie and Charles David Sprague.

Rose graduated from Eastmont High School in 1966.

Shortly after graduating, she enlisted in the United States Army and served our country as a teletypist at Fort Richie, Maryland.

She obtained the rank of Sergeant (E-5) before she was discharged in 1969.

Rose was also employed as a Respiratory Therapist at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA from 1974 to 1999.

Rose married David Eugene Weidner Jr. on April 2, 1993 and spent nearly 20 years together.

She attended Spokane Valley Free Methodist Church and later Berean Bible Church of Spokane, WA.

She is survived by her husband, David Eugene Weidner Jr.; brothers, Ronald Sprague and Gary Sprague; sister, Cheryl Sprague; children, Mark Alan Sprague, Philip Louis Weidner II, Charles David Weidner; aunt Edith Irmer of Waterville, WA; and five stepgrandchildren and several cousins.
