Talk about a full evening of family fun.

Southside Aquatic Center’s Swim and a Movie this week allows families to enjoy two hours of swimming, followed by a movie screened on an inflatable movie screen.

This week, the featured film is “Rise of the Guardians,” rated PG. When the evil spirit Pitch launches an assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians – North, Jack Frost, Tooth and Bunny – team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world. Voice performers include Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher, Hugh Jackman and Jude Law as Pitch.

When: Saturday. Gates open at 6 p.m.; movie starts at dusk.

Where:Southside Aquatics Center, 3724 E. 61st Ave.

Cost: $4 general, $3 seniors, $2 ages 3-5, free age 2 and younger.
