Obituary: Overfield, Larry B.

OVERFIELD, Larry B. Larry Overfield passed away early on the morning of June 26, 2013 after suffering a stroke while on his way to go fishing.

Larry was a devoted Grandpa who loved to spend time watching the children grow up.

An avid foosball player and outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, and go hiking with his dogs.

He was never happier than when he was outdoors enjoying nature.

Larry owned several acres in the Elk area, where he was looking forward to retiring.

He often spoke about how much he loved walking through the woods watching the wildlife, and feeding the deer.

The youngest of six children he is preceded in death by his parents Rexal and Barbara Overfield.

He leaves behind a daughter, Heidi Shaw, granddaughter, Willow Vaughn, grandson, Paxton Vaughn, brothers and sisters, Mabel Lawrence, Bonnie Iszler, Bill Overfield, Joan Overfield, and Paul Overfield to whom he was particularly close.

There are also numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who mourn his passing.

A celebration of his life will be held at his home in Spokane, July 27 at 1 p.m.
