Fairfield City Council – The council voted to relocate a light pole that was installed too close to the railroad tracks. The town’s free lunch program has been boosted by children from Waverly and Latah being bused into town for lunch before heading to the swimming pool in Tekoa. Semi-trucks have been using McNeil Avenue and Ticknor Street even though the streets aren’t designed for heavy loads. The streets will be posted for no through truck traffic.
