Randy was born on July 7, 1950 in Salida, CO to Robert and Amalie Heberer and spent most of his life in the state he loved to explore, Colorado.

Not only was he a devoted husband and father, but was also comitted to giving his time to others, serving as a baseball, basketball and soccer coach for several years in Canon City, CO. Other passions of his were music, reading and volunteering.

One of the many ways he shared his strong faith in the Lord was by donating hours of his time to hand make “prayer rocks” that were sent overseas in care packages to our men and women serving in the armed forces and was a strong supporter of the Wounded Warrior Program.

He worked for the State of Colorado for 25 years and retired as the 11th Judicial District Chief Probation Officer in 2005.

While doing so he mentored and helped hundreds of people throughout his tenure.

A role model, mentor, and an extremely kind, fair and compassionate person to all who knew him..truly a man of integrity and honor, he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Heberer of Spokane WA, two sons and daughter in laws; Christopher and Sharon Heberer of Colorado Springs, Jeremy and Tyler Heberer of Greeley, CO and his stepdaughter and son in law, Jehree and Robert Salyer of Anchorage, AK.

He is also survived by his mother Amalie (Gramalie) Heberer and his brother and sister in law Ron and Debra Heberer of Idaho.

His five grandchildren, Alexandra, Levi, Gabriel, Andrew and Noah were the light of his life.

His niece, Faith Gorenc of Arizona, like a daughter to him, are among the many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts that will miss him dearly.

Last, but not least, he leaves behind his beloved dog and littlest best buddy, Chico.
