Obituary: Austin, Marilyn
Mrs. Austin was a resident of Spokane for many years.
She grew up and attended local schools in Cando, North Dakota and had worked in Washington DC for a Senator in her early life.
She was a longtime employee of Holy Family Hospital where she served as Head Medical Secretary in the Radiation Department.
Mrs. Austin is survived by her husband, Robert P. Austin Sr., of Spokane whom she married in Reno, Nevada in 1975.
Also surviving are three children: Berkley, Damon and Renee all of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Marion Janowski of Arizona and Thelma Mersberg of Hawaii; and two brothers, Noris Haugen of Las Vegas and Dude Haugen of North Dakota; as well as many grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend memorial services at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 9706 N. Division St., Monday July 8th, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
