Obituary: Jordan, Elizabeth M.

JORDAN, Elizabeth M. 85 Years of Life A resident of Stafford, Virginia, and a former longtime resident of Spokane and Deer Park, passed away on May 2, 2013, in Stafford.

Elizabeth is the dear mother and mother-in-law of Edna and Warren Schaeffer of Stafford, Virginia, and Harry and Debbie Jordan of Deer Park.

She enjoyed three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her sister, Tanya Williams, resides in Seattle.

Elizabeth’s husband, Reverda E. “Bud” Jordan, passed away in 1981 and her son, Terry Lee, passed away in 1996.

She is a member of St. Mary Presentation Catholic Church and life member of V.F.W.

Post 3067 Auxiliary, both in Deer Park.

She was a longtime custodian at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church and as a housekeeper at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

At onetime, she owned Jordie’s Diner in Spokane which is now known as the Wall Street Diner.

Funeral Service honoring Mrs. Jordan will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, in Spokane at the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Deacon Dan Ritchie officiating and the V.F.W.

Auxiliary participating.

Funeral home visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. LAUER FUNERAL HOME in Deer Park, Washington
