Spokane Valley Fire Department

Commissioners heard a presentation on the department’s swift-water rescue team. They voted to select ZBA Architecture as the department’s new architect. The commissioners also approved two changes to the budget so it can spend grant money received for EMS equipment and software.

Rockford City Council

The council voted to approve a new ordinance reducing the pay of the mayor and council members to zero. They also appointed Carrie Roecks to the council to replace Steve Meyer, who resigned last month. Source: Town clerk John Goyke
