Press release workshop offered

Spokane Faith & Values will present a press release writing workshop Dec. 2 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Liberty Park United Methodist Church, 1526 E. 11th Ave.

Tracy Simmons, editor of Spokane Faith & Values, will lead the workshop. As a reporter and editor, she has seen the best and the worst press releases come across her desk. She will offer tips on length, what a press release should include, what the format should be, when a press release should be sent and who it should be sent to.

There is a suggested donation of $10.
