Obituary: Nauditt, Richard W.

Age 82

NAUDITT, Richard W. (Age 82) Beloved father and friend went to his Savior on October 6 2013.

Richard was born on July 7, 1931 in Spokane Washington.

He was the second son to Robert and Naomi Nauditt.

His brother Don Nauditt passed away peacefully on July 8, 2012.

Richard graduated from Rogers High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1949-1952.

During the 1950’s, Rich worked in construction building brick and rock fireplaces in new homes being constructed.

He worked for the Spokane Parks Department from 1959-1972.

He is remembered for his designed rock drinking fountains for the parks department.

He helped build the rock retaining wall at the rose garden at Manito Park.

He is also remembered for the work he did at the city golf courses.

Richard is survived by his son, Jerry and his wife, Jodi Nauditt; granddaughters Shannon and Kayce Nauditt.

Daughter, Linda Nauditt; grandsons Doug, Brian and Richard Giles.

Daughter, Becky Nauditt; daughter-in-law Lauri Nauditt and granddaughters: Rayna and Kristen Nauditt; as well as former wife Dora Tylock.

He is preceded in death by son Richard Nauditt and grandsons Jeremy and Robert Giles.

Dad, I’ll never forget the good times I had fishing with you at Newman Lake and the time we had at our cabin.

I also will never forget the good times we spent pheasant and duck hunting in the Harrington and Ritzville area.

There wil be no funeral services.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
