Reardan, Liberty win district volleyball openers

Kamille Langford had six kills and two blocks and Keiton Klein added six aces as Reardan swept visiting St. George’s 3-0 Wednesday at the District 7 2B volleyball tournament.

Fifth-seeded Reardan will play No. 4 Northwest Christian at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. George’s.

Also at the tournament, Katie Stern tallied 13 kills and Abby Karlis notched 27 assists to lead visiting Liberty to a 3-0 sweep over Springdale. Seventh-seeded Liberty will play No. 3 Lind-Ritzville/Sprague at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Colfax is the top seed and Davenport the No. 2.
