Obituary: Wakole, Rosemary

Age 74

WAKOLE, Rosemary January 30, 1939 - August 31, 2013 Rosemary entered into eternal life after a brief struggle with cancer.

She was a brave, independent woman born and raised in Wichita, KS.

She traveled many places after marrying her husband, Bill.

After spending 20 years in the Washington DC area, Rosemary and Bill came back to Spokane in 2008 to retire.

During her time in DC, she had a distinguished career as a legal secretary in the federal and private sectors.

Her love of ceramics and china doll painting followed her wherever she lived.

Her beautiful cross-stitch works adorn many of her family’s homes.

Mom’s love for growing colorful and unique flowers and plants, of which roses were her favorite, showed in very inch of her yard.

She had a great love for her family and would always make sure that we were taken care of.

When she was blessed with grandchildren, she said that she was too young to be a grandmother.

Then when she became a great-grandmother, she smiled.

Her husband, Bill, took her on many trips filled with adventure and she always brought back some treasure to share.

Rosemary continues to watch over her loving husband of 37 years, Bill.

Children - Monica of Alaska, Christopher (Lynne) of Kansas and Brenda of Spokane.

Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Sister and brother - Eleanor and JC of Kansas.

Memorial Service will be held on September 11, 2013 at 11:00 am, Driscoll Boulevard Baptist Church, 4815 N. Driscoll Blvd., Spokane, WA 99208.
