CdA man injured in overnight car crash

A 46-year-old Coeur d’Alene man was listed in fair condition at Kootenai Medical Center on Wednesday morning after being injured in an overnight accident on State Highway 41.

David Ezzell was headed south on the highway near Spirit Lake when the 2002 Nissan Sentra he was driving left the road around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Idaho State Police. Ezzell’s car traveled down an embankment and then back uphill before striking a jersey barrier.

Ezzell was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The Nissan’s airbags deployed during the incident.
