Obituary: Hoover, Robert R.

HOOVER, Robert R. Robert Hoover “Bob” of Spokane, WA passed away unexpectedly on August 1st of 2014.

Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife Claudette.

He leaves behind David Hoover and his wife, Linda; Michael Hoover; Pattie Cameron and her husband David and Suzanne Stanley and her husband JR. Bob leaves behind a legacy of nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Born in Pittsburg, Kansas on July 16th in 1933, Bob would later graduate from Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane, Washington.

In 1952, he married his lifelong companion Claudette Driskell.

Bob spent 25 years working in the Grocery business and another 25 years of sales for Country Radio stations.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11th at the Sunset Chapel of Fairmount Memorial Park; 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane WA 9920.

Bob suggested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the City of Spokane and designated for the repair of pot holes.
