Obituary: Alexander, Alan

Age 60

ALEXANDER, Alan Beloved brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully in his sleep January 18.

Alan, who was a lifelong resident of Spokane Valley, WA was born May 27, 1953.

He was the third son of Joseph and Esther Alexander.

Alan attended Saint John Vianney Parochiol School, Libby Jr. High School and later graduated from Central Valley High School in 1971.

Alan was an avid motorcyclist and experienced many wonderful vacations riding with his nephew Chris and friends.

He also loved anything to do with the outdoors and spent many hours hiking in the Dishman Hills.

Alan worked for several years as an appliance repairman for Sears and most recently for Fred’s Appliance Service Center.

His co-workers have expressed their sorrow for his passing and what a wonderful worker he was.

Alan was a gentle and caring man who loved his family and friends very much.

His nephews and nieces have many fond memories of good times with their “Uncle Al”.

Alan’s parents and his oldest brother Rudy Alexander preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother Jerry Alexander and wife Dana of Spokane Valley; and his sister Marlene Berger and husband Chris of Bellevue, Washington; and sister-in-law, Debbie Alexander as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews, in addition to many good friends.

He will be greatly missed.
