Kettle Falls police not investigating shooting

The Kettle Falls Police Department is not involved in an investigation of the National Park Service ranger-involved shooting that took place at a nearby campground in September. A story on page A5 of Friday’s newspaper incorrectly characterized their involvement due to a reporter’s error.

Collision totals inaccurate

The total number of collisions at Browne and Sprague from 2004 to 2012 were inflated by three for each year in a chart Sunday with a story about red light cameras, due to a graphic artist’s error.

Chart headline incorrect

A chart illustrating the number of single-parent families in Spokane County had the wrong headline in Sunday’s newspaper on page E1 due to a graphic artist’s error.
