Summer Horse and Carriage Rides Fridays in July and August, 5-9 p.m. The rides are first come, first serve. No reservations are required. Daily Lake History Cruise Lake Pend Oreille Cruises offers daily history cruise departing from Sandpoint City Beach at 1:30 p.m. and returning to port at 3 p.m. From submarines to star gazers, catastrophic ice age floods to a world record fishery, you will learn about the history and geology of Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho’s largest lake.
