The Bulldogs’ stifling defense held the Dragons to 24.4 percent shooting in a 47-27 win advance to the championship game against Toutle Lake.

Nicole Sheer led all scorers with 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Bulldogs, who had a 40-27 rebounding advantage over the Dragons.

Hailey Higashi had a team-high eight points and eight rebounds for the Dragons.

The Crusaders had no match for Samantha Woodley, who scored 30 points, and the Fighting Ducks advanced to the championship game with a victory over the Crusaders.

Woodley shot 10 of 23 from the floor, including five 3-pointers, and added four rebounds.

Courtney Gray was the high scorer for the Crusaders with 13.

Teresa Acock made 9 of 10 free throws and scored 21 points and DeSales surged after a sluggish start, defeating Bear Creek in an elimination game.

Free-throw shooting was a key factor. DeSales was 16 of 20 from the line, while Bear Creek made just 3 of 11.

Ashlyn Lyons added 13 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Irish.

Bear Creek was led by Darryln McDonough and Michelle Kahue, who combined for 25 points.

Whitney Elledge scored 16 points to lead the Timberwolves. She made just 2 of 12 shots from the floor, but was 10 of 11 from the free-throw line.

Leading by four points in the closing moments, Morton-White Pass’ Ashley Kelly drove the baseline and found Samantha Eveland alone under the basket. She made the lay-in to cap the scoring.

The Braves went ice cold in the second half. They made 4 of 21 shots from the field, including just 1 of 11 3-pointers. They went scoreless for the first 5 minutes of the final quarter.

Anna Cook tallied a team-high 12 points and 13 rebounds for La Conner.
