Age 89

WILLIAMS, Claude A.

“Arnie” (Age 89) Of Marshall, WA passed away March 20, 2014 in Spokane WA.

Arnie was born in Harriman, Tennessee May 13, 1924 and moved to Spokane at the age of 11 and was a graduate of Cheney High School.

He was a World War II Veteran seeing action as a Navy Medic in the Phillipines.

Arnie retired from the U.S. Navy in 1970 and returned to Marshall in 1971.

Arnie worked as a X-ray Technician for the State of Washington at Lakeland Village.

He loved collecting cars, especially classic Mustangs, Ruth and Arnie were members of the Inland Empire Convertible Club.

He is survived by his wife of over 68 yrs; Ruth F. Williams.

Sons: Danny (Vickie) of Waldorf, MD and Steve of Spokane, WA.

Great-grandchildren: (Chase, Zach, Bryce and Morgan from parents Tammy and Jeff).

Brother: Ray (Shirley) Williams.

Nephews: Ron (Berta) Bennett and Mike Williams.

Nieces; Cobina Bennett and Mallory Williams (Bill) Anderson.

From Ruth’s side of the family, sisters-in-law; Karen Colson and Sharon Larson.

He was preceded in death by sister, Geneva Bennett.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL.

Burial will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
