Obituary: Gates, Jane V.

GATES, Jane V. (Age 94) Our “Lovely” Jane Gates died peacefully surrounded by family on May 7th from a variety of health complications.

She enjoyed a very full, active and adventuresome life and is survived by her husband of 73 years, Louis B.

“Joe” Gates, their two daughters, Shelby and Susan, two sons-in-law, two grandsons and many friends.

We want to thank her doctors, nurses and friends who were there for her and for us, her family.

You know who you are.

What you did for her and for us was a true gift from the heart.

We also want to thank everyone at Pine Ridge Alzheimer’s Special Care Center for the compassion and caring that they had for mother over the past four and a half years.

We would have had a much more difficult journey without each and every one of you.

Our family will gather at a future date to celebrate her life and the love and graciousness she gave us.
