Obituary: Cox, James C.

Age 30

COX, James C. (Age 30) Jim Cox passed away, at home, from health complications on August 26, 2015.

Jim was born on April 6, 1985 at Deaconess Hospital.

He attended the Spokane Guild’s School until the age of three.

He then entered the Special Education Program in the Central Valley School District, attending Keystone Elementary, Opportunity Elementary, Horizon Junior High, U-High (where he lettered in choir) and Barker Center.

During that time he participated in many Special Olympics events and won several gold medals.

Jim also belonged to the Heroes Club.

After graduating in 2006, Jim went to work for Hasting’s for a year.

He then went to work for the Artisans on the vending crew until his death.

Jim loved WWE wrestling, music, people, Power Rangers and Yu-Gi-Oh!

Jim is survived by his parents, Charlie and Sharon Cox of Spokane Valley; his brothers, John Cox of Seattle, WA and Joe Cox of Pasco, WA; plus several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jim’s Funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11 o’clock, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N. Walnut Road, Spokane Valley.
