Deal allows Pac-12 to stream men’s basketball games in China

The Pac-12 will stream 27 men’s basketball games in China this season. The deal with the Pac-12 Networks and LeTV will allow users to live stream Pac-12 games, including all of the Pac-12 Tournament, through computers, mobile devices and LeTV’s Super TV devices. The Pac-12 launched a globalization initiative in 2011 and has sent a variety of teams to play exhibitions in China. In November, Washington and Texas will become the first major U.S. sports teams, college or professional, to play a regular-season game in China. LeTV, a leading provider of Internet video service in China, has sports partnerships with FIFA, PGA, NBA, NFL and MLB. – AP
