Obituary: Blevins, Beverly Sue

BLEVINS, Beverly Sue Beverly died unexpectedly from influenza on Tuesday February 10 in Spokane, WA at the age of 61.

Beverly is survived by her husband Dave, her children, Ray Moeckel and his wife, Cindy of Deer Park, Becca Klinckhardt and fiancĂŠ, Gabe Nottage, Michael Klinckhardt, Stepsons Matt and Cody Blevins, and Phoenix along with four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Carl Scott and her son Robby Moeckel.

She was born in Mt.

Vernon, IL, and grew up in St. Louis, MO, graduating from Mehlville High School.

Beginning her 35 year calling as a nurse, she lived in Phoenix, Dallas, Waxahachie and West Texas with short stents in Florida and Kentucky, retiring to Deer Park, WA.

She worked in various capacities but had a deep connection to Neuro ICU and her time as a flight nurse.

Beverly was an extremely patient woman that was always putting others first.

She had a love for antiques and all things vintage.

Her true passion and escape from the trials of life was reading.

Her lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ finished strong.

Since retiring, she faithfully worshipped and participated in ministries, fully plugging into her church body unlike any other time in her life.

Beverly had been so excited, in the past three years, to fulfill the calling Jesus had placed in her heart as a young girl.

She had been able to share the good news of Jesus Christ on missions to the Middle East and North Africa on multiple occasions.

Her life was wrought with medical problems, but, she was committed to being a disciple through it all, persevering to the end.

A Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral home Monday, February 16th from 5:00-8:00PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at Crossover Church on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2:00PM.
