Obituary: Burke, Paul T.

Age 72

BURKE, Paul T. Passed away January 9th, 2015 into the loving arms of God Our Father.

Paul was the eldest child of Frank and Vivian Burke born June 27th, 1942 in Spokane, WA.

Paul graduated from Central Valley High School in 1961.

He served in the US Navy from 1961 until 1966.

Paul moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1967 and was employed by the Milwaukee RR, where he married Marilyn Abricki in 1968.

Paul was a wonderful, kind, loving person and a loyal Green Bay Packer fan.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ralph Burke.

He is survived by his son Thomas Burke, Tucson, AZ; and daughter Debbie (Adam) Walker, Sydney Australia; sister Judy (George) O’Malley Spokane Valley, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would truly like to thank the staff at the Spokane Veterans Home for their loving care over the last five years of Paul’s life.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 10 N. Post St. Suite 638 Spokane, WA 99201.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 starting at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.

Inurnment services to follow at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA beginning at 2:15PM on Monday, January 26, 2015.
