Obituary: Lafollette, Richard Frank

LaFOLLETTE, Richard Frank (Age 85) Entered into rest on July 23, 2015 in Spokane, WA, where he has resided for the past two years.

Born in Forest Grove, OR, Richard graduated from Amity High School, Amity, OR , in 1949.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Following service, he worked for Bingham-Willamette Co. and Oregon Steel Mills until his retirement in 1994.

Richard married the love of his life, Darlene Husted, in 1959, and they raised two children together: Donna Vreeland of Spokane, WA, and Dean LaFollette, of Riverview, FL.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Spokane and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Donna and Dean; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside service and Military Honors will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake, WA.
