Shadow draw with Seattle in first home game of season
Peiman Alessandro’s goal in the 78th minute gave the Seattle Stars a 1-all draw with the Spokane Shadow in an Evergreen Premier League soccer match Saturday night at Spokane Falls CC.
Sam Engle scored for Spokane on a penalty kick in the 32nd minute. The penalty resulted after Graison Le was tripped by a Seattle player after cutting across the penalty area.
Spokane opened the season last Sunday with an 8-2 win at Wenatchee.
The Shadow play again Saturday against Vancouver at 7 p.m. at SFCC.
