Obituary: Lewis, Linzy Adam

LEWIS, Linzy Adam 91 years young Linzy was born on February 28, 1924 to Bert and Tera (Pease) Lewis in Spokane, WA.

After high school, he joined the US Army.

Linzy worked as a Carman for the Railroad from which he retired.

He was also in Scouting for sixteen years and was a Scout Master for thirteen years.

Linzy is survived by his wife of 67 years, Floralee “Lee” (Taylor) Lewis, son, Jack Linzy Lewis (Patricia); one brother and one sister; four grandchildren: Kristina T. Lewis, Jeremy Carson, Chad and Brian Bentley; and one great-grandchild, Noah Bentley.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael Alan Lewis.

His funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2015 at 3:00pm in the Ball & Dodd Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA 99205.

A private interment will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Linzy’s name to the Inland Northwest Honor Flight, 608 W. 2nd Ave., Suite 309, Spokane, WA 99201.
