ARMSTRONG, Robert F. October 11, 1934- October 28, 2015 Robert passed away peacefully at Avalon Care Center October 28, 2015 with family by his side in Spokane, WA.

He was born to Frances Elmer Armstrong and Evelyn Violet Hittenger October 11, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA.

He is survived by his brother Ronnie G. Armstrong -72 (wife Michiko -75) Parker, CO; and his half-brother Ross A. Armstrong - 64, Clearwater, FL; his children, Rick A. Armstrong - 58, Postfalls, ID, Renee C. Griffith - 53 (husband James Griffith - 55), Lake Jackson, TX and Russell D. Armstrong - 51 (wife Laura Armstrong - 52), Nine Mile Falls, WA; and his five grandchildren, Brenden J. Griffith - 28, Sean M. Armstrong - 25, Kristopher N. Griffith - 23, Caitlin B. Armstrong - 18 and Evan T. Armstrong - 17.

We can’t forget his little dog Sadie - 6.

Robert is preceded by his parents; and his wife Barbara D. Armstrong - 75; and his daughter Robyn B. Armstrong - 55.

A “Celebration of Life” service will be held at the Unitarian - Universalist Church of Spokane at 4340 W. FortWright Drive, Spokane, WA on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm.

After the service in a private ceremony, Robert’s ashes will be placed alongside his wife’s in the Memorial Garden on the church grounds.
