Reward offered in beauty shop robbery

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in a robbery Friday morning at Sally Beauty Supply in Spokane Valley.

Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the store at 15735 E. Broadway Ave. just after 8 a.m. Friday. An employee told deputies that a man came in and demanded money. He didn’t show a gun, but kept his hand in his pocket and implied he had a weapon, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.

The robber is described as a black man, about 35-40 years old, with a thin build. He was either bald or balding. He was wearing a dark gray sweater and jeans. His face was partially covered.

The robber was last seen headed south on foot. Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling the Crime Stoppers tip line at (800) 222-TIPS or visiting www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org.
