He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years Audrey and his son Charles Sowles Jr.
He is survived by daughters: Mischele, Charline, Shirley Anne and Sherrill; brothers Wayne and Richard; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
His family wishes to express special gratitude to his “Angels” at Good Samaritan Society: Michele, Shelly, Zoey, Jackie, Terry, Samantha, Tammy, Noel, Stacy, Rachel; Mary Jo, Amber and Pastor Manny, as well as faithful friend Dale E. Beauchamp, who always took the call; the Menleys, the Blounts and Darlene Fultin.
A Celebration of Walt’s Life will be held Saturday November 14, 2015, 1:00pm at the Good Samaritan Society Community Services Building, 17121E.

Walt’s final resting place will be at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, WA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund.
