Obituary: Chasse, Dale W.

CHASSE, Dale W. Dale William Chasse (age 85) died peacefully at Hospice of Spokane House North on October 13, 2015.

He was the son of Lyle and Peggy Chasse.

He attended St. Joseph’s grade school and graduated from Gonzaga High School.

In 1949 he married Corinne Krause whom he had known since the third grade.

Dale was a man of many talents, he operated several service stations, was a plant manager for an Aluminum Recycling Plant, and finally retired at age 83 after twenty years as the office manager for Clark and Sons Landscaping Company.

Working only summer months, he and Corinne were able to travel during Fall and Winter months and his Tuesday’s were devoted to golf with friends (the Lofter’s).

He spent many hours at his piano or organ and enjoyed all music.

His top priority was his family, working together building a home on Lake Pend Orielle, taking weekend car trips, sporting events, or always celebrating someone’s birthday or holiday.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Corinne; daughter Carol; sons Jack (Alexis), Tom (Linda), Ken (Diane) and Bob; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11am and will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 505 W. St. Thomas More Way, Spokane.

Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Cancer Care Northwest or Hospice of Spokane.
