Don Cunningham has completed enhanced education and training in the equipment appraisal industry to receive recertification as a Master Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser from the NEBB Institute. Cunningham is also a real estate broker, business broker and the president of Cunningham Group Inc.

Hospitality

Red Lion Hotels Corp. (RLHC) and HeBS Digital have earned the Web Marketing Association’s Best Hotel and Lodging Website award during the 2015 WebAwards in recognition of the design of www.redlion.com. The website also received a 2015 Best in Class Award in the Hotel/Resort category from the Interactive Media Awards. In addition, RLHC’s board of directors has appointed Robert Wolfe as chairman. Wolfe was previously the chair of the board’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. He has more than 30 years of investment banking, financial management and operations experience.

Shanalee Steele has joined PayneWest Insurance as a construction specialty division surety account specialist. Steele has experience in both personal and commercial insurance.

New York Life Insurance Co. has named Wes Teterud as a member of the company’s 2015 Executive Council. Members of the council are among the company’s elite sales force. He has been an agent for the company since 1994 and is associated with the Eastern Washington General Office.

Nonprofit

The Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight and Hearing has awarded a $6,000 grant to the Spokane Central Lions Club in support of sight and hearing programs such as preschool hearing and visual screenings and providing and distributing free eyeglasses and hearing aids.

Nicholas Flatoff has joined Kiemle & Hagood Co. as an assistant property manager in the multifamily management division. Flatoff previously worked with nonprofit organizations.
