Prep football: Coeur d’Alene shuts out Ferris

Among Friday night late games, Austin Lee threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 55 yards and two more scores as Coeur d’Alene blanked visiting Ferris 40-0 in a nonleague game.

Vikings backup quarterback Colson Yankoff also got in on the action. Yankoff completed 10 of 15 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns.

Cole Ramseyer, Joey Naccarato, Brody Lundblad and K.C. Hutchings all hauled in touchdown passes for the Vikings (2-1). Ferris fell to 0-2.

Liberty 13, Reardan 8: Garrett Rogers scored from 1 yard out with 3:30 left and the Lancers (1-1, 1-1) held on to beat the host Indians (1-1, 1-1) in a Northeast 2B League game.

Liberty’s Chase Burnham opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 1-yard plunge. He finished with 84 rushing yards. Reardan’s lone score came on a Josh Meserve 1-yard run in the fourth.

Timberlake 29, Lethbridge 26: Brandon Housladen scored two short rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter and the host Tigers (2-1) rallied to beat Lethbridge in a nonleague game at Spirit Lake.

Housladen finished with 157 yards on the ground and three scores.

St. Maries 42, Medical Lake 12: Bryant Asbury and Dawson Lake each ran for a pair of touchdowns and the Lumberjacks (3-0) routed the host Cardinals (0-2).

Kiefer Gibson added two passing touchdowns and a rushing score for St. Maries.

Saturday’s result

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 58, Republic 12: Dallas Isaak ran for 302 yards on 19 carries and scored five touchdowns to guide the Warriors (1-1) to an easy win over the host Tigers (1-1).
