Bills honor Polian

The Buffalo Bills honored former general manager Bill Polian by presenting him his Pro Football Hall of Fame ring at halftime against the New England Patriots. Polian, who was inducted into the hall in August, was the GM and architect of the Jim Kelly-led Bills teams that made four consecutive Super Bowl appearances in the early 1990s only to lose them all. He was with the Bills from 1984-92. During the ceremony, he was joined by the Bills Hall of Fame players he drafted: Kelly, running back Thurman Thomas, defensive end Bruce Smith and receiver Andre Reed.
