Bob Ostrander died on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Born in Chewelah, Washington on August 18, 1927, to Edward and Kathy Ostrander, he lived life full and truly enjoyed people.
He spent the majority of his life in Spokane and had been a US Marine, Spokane Police Officer, car salesman and insurance agent.
As a young man, Bob met and married Betty Loraine Bennett of Colville and together brought three sons into the world: Robert (Kathy) Ostrander, Timothy (Stacy) Ostrander, and James (Pam) Ostrander.
In 1964, he met and married his second wife Mary and was a stepdad to Marlene (Dave) McPherson, Mary Lou (Peter) Zografos, Edward (Linda) Stewart and leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both siblings, stepdaughter Lana Cole, step-granddaughter Jamie Stewart Cady and his wife of 47 years Mary Ostrander.
Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 8th, 11:15am at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake, WA.
