1. Arlo Guthrie: 50th Anniversary Tour

The legendary singer-songwriter will present “Alice’s Restaurant” for the first time in more than a decade, along with other material from the early part of his career, his hits and two new arrangements of previously unreleased lyrics by his father, Woody Guthrie.

2. Johnny Mathis

Celebrating his 60th year in the music industry, the iconic singer is Columbia Records’ longest-running artist. Mathis has performed songs in a variety of styles and categories – from music composed for stage and film to golden era jazz standards, contemporary pop hits and holiday music.

3. Josh Blue

This winner of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” has made appearances on “Ron White’s Comedy Salute to the Troops” on CMT and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” Blue, who has cerebral palsy, has a one-hour Showtime special, “Sticky Change,” and continues to break down stereotypes of people with disabilities one laugh at a time.

When: Thursday, 7:30 p.m.

4. Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra

Presenting its season finale with conductor Kevin Hekmatpanah and acclaimed clarinetist Richard Stoltman. The concert program includes Berlioz’s “Hungarian March,” Ravel’s “Valses Nobles et Sentimentales” and Suppé’s “Pique Dame” Overture. It will be followed by Stoltzman performing Copland’s Clarinet Concerto and conclude with variations on Bernstein’s spectacular “West Side Story” for clarinet and orchestra.

5. Team Challenge Cup

Figure skaters from three continents will compete for the inaugural Team Challenge Cup trophy. Skaters include the reigning women’s world champion Evgenia Medvedeva, world silver medalist Ashley Wagner, reigning U.S. champions Gracie Gold and Adam Rippon, the ice dancing team of Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and the reigning Chinese champions Xuehan Wang and Lei Wang.

When: Friday, 7:30 p.m., Men’s and Ladies Short Program; Saturday at 1:30 p.m., Free Skate featuring pairs and ice dance teams competing; Saturday at 7 p.m., Men’s and Women’s Free Skate; and Sunday at 3 p.m., Exhibition of Champions featuring the best skaters from around the world.

6. “A Bright New Boise”

A dark comedy that takes place in the bleak break room of a big box store in Idaho where someone is summoning the rapture. The thorny issues of faith, forgiveness and second chances are put on the table.

When: Friday through May 8; performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.

7. Shrine Circus

Fun for the whole family, and a yearly fundraiser for the El Katif Shrine to benefit children.
