The Dirt: Gonzaga Prep plans $6 million gym remodel

Gonzaga Preparatory School plans a $6 million project for full renovation and expansion of its 60-year-old athletic facility complex.

A fundraising campaign is underway for construction that’s targeted to start in March at the high school campus at 1224 E. Euclid Ave. Gonzaga Prep plans to have new spaces open by November.

Plans call for the school to expand its main gym, update locker rooms, create a larger training room with updated equipment, add air conditioning and improve a fitness space.

Other work would increase the number of coaches’ offices, add storage space, build new locker rooms for faculty and staff, create two multiuse classroom spaces for physical education and team support, and develop a separation corridor to a second gym.

Molina Healthcare remodel in the works

A $950,000 remodel is slated for Molina Healthcare offices in Spokane’s Rock Pointe Corporate Center.

The tenant improvement is planned for 17,000 square feet of existing office space at 1330 N. Washington St. Workers will construct new walls and doors, among other updates.

Bernardo Wills Architects did the design work.

Dermatology office set to be renovated

Yost Gallagher Construction, of Spokane, is scheduled to remodel space for Dermatology Specialists.

The $875,000 project calls for renovating two floors of a building at 510 S. Cowley St. to create the dermatology clinic space.
