Celebrate the Fourth on TV

DON’T MISS: Fourth of July specials – The best thing about celebrating Independence Day in front of the TV? You can turn the volume down if the pyrotechnics get too loud. This year’s programs include the “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” (8 p.m. Monday, NBC) from New York City, which features performances by Kenny Chesney, 5 Seconds of Summer, Meghan Trainor and more. Also on tap are “A Capitol Fourth” (8 p.m., PBS) and “Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular” (9 p.m., CBS). The former has Tom Bergeron hosting a musical extravaganza from Washington D.C. The latter features Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas leading the list of performers from Boston.

SUNDAY: Are you ready for some football … in July? Tonight’s edition of “Celebrity Family Feud” has a group of NFL players huddling up to win some cash for charity. 8 p.m., ABC.

SUNDAY: In the new series “Island Explorers,” husband and wife adventurers Jeremy and Wendy Gilbert take viewers to off-the-beaten-path spots throughout Hawaii. 11 p.m., Travel Channel.

MONDAY: The drama on “Devious Maids” is so steamy that you may have to prevent your DVR from overheating. Tonight, Rosie (Dania Ramirez) puts herself at risk trying to prove Spence’s (Grant Show) innocence. 9 p.m., Lifetime.

TUESDAY: New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski is our host for “Crashletes.” It’s a new viral video series that celebrates some of the wildest and craziest moments in sports. 7 p.m., Nickelodeon.

TUESDAY: It’s time for another culinary throwdown as “Chopped” stages a Grill Masters tournament from Napa. Sixteen high-caliber chefs are ready to get fired up. 10 p.m., Food Network.

WEDNESDAY: “American Tarzan” is a new survival-competition series that plops seven contestants on a remote island and challenges them to live in the wild. If they don’t swing from vines, we’ll be really bummed. 10 p.m., Discovery

WEDNESDAY: As Season 3 of “Tyrant” gets under way, Barry (Adam Rayner) becomes interim president of Abuddin. But can he avoid the temptations of power? 10 p.m., FX.

WEDNESDAY: “Royal Pains” wraps up its eight-season run with a series finale that has Hank (Mark Feuerstein) considering an offer to leave the Hamptons. Sigh. 10 p.m., USA.

THURSDAY: “Greatest Hits” delves into the 1995-2000 era for tonight’s show. Among the highlights: Meghan Trainor teams up with her childhood idols the Backstreet Boys on “I Want It That Way.” 9 p.m., ABC.

FRIDAY: Patti Stanger is back to play Cupid on “Million Dollar Matchmaker.” She and her romantic experts attempt to help their ultra-wealthy clients achieve a lasting love connection. 10 p.m., WEtv.

SATURDAY: Time traveling gets even more complicated in the “Outlander” season finale. The episode flashes forward to 1968 and introduces two integral characters in Brianna Randall (Sophie Skelton) and Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin). 9 p.m., Starz.
