F5 Networks officially opens expanded office in Liberty Lake

F5 Networks officially opened its second Liberty Lake office on Monday, bringing the Seattle company’s workforce in Eastern Washington to 200 people.

The new office, located in leased space at 23321 East Knox Ave., houses one of F5 Network’s 11 support services teams located around the world, said Mark Kramer, senior vice president of global customer support.

“The Liberty Lake-Spokane area has been by far No. 1 or No. 2 in ease (of hiring) and quality of candidates,” Kramer said in an interview Tuesday.

F5 Networks opened an engineering research and development office in Liberty Lake in 2000, which employs 115 people. It’s located at 1322 N. Whitman Lane.

The support services office employs 85, but has capacity for nearly 130. Kramer said both offices are expected to continue to grow. The jobs there are generally highly paid, from $65,000 to “well into six figures,” he said.

The company specializes in managing Internet traffic and applications for companies worldwide.
