Architecture

ALSC Architects of Spokane has hired Rebecca Copeland as an interior designer and Connor Nicholas and David Waddoups as architectural designers. Copeland is currently working on the Sunrise Elementary School for Central Valley School District and the Gonzaga University Center for Athletic Achievement. Nicholas is currently working on several housing and community-related projects. Waddoups is currently working on the Spokane Community College North Spokane Corridor Interface Master Plan Project and maintenance shops and office facility for Kennewick School District.

Education

April Davis has been named as the 2016 Emerging Dietetic Leader of the Year by the Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in recognition of her work in public health and nutrition. Davis is an instructor in the Nutrition and Exercise Physiology program at Washington State University’s health sciences campus in Spokane.

Finance

John Hillier has joined SVN Cornerstone as a senior advisor. Hillier has 28 years of experience as a commercial broker.

Jason E. Johnson, a private wealth advisor with Ameriprise Financial, has been named to the Million Dollar Round Table - The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Membership in the association is based on client service, adherence to a code of ethics, professionalism and involvement with another industry association.

Health care

Ashton Wegeleben, a certified physician assistant, has joined Corbett Family Medicine PLLC. Wegeleben is a graduate of the University of Washington’s School of Medicine MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Training Program and provides family medicine services, women’s health care and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

Non-profit

Washington State Quilters Spokane Chapter has announced its officers for 2016 as follows: Patty Yedinak, president; Lexi Burg, first vice president; Winnie Therssen, second vice president; Ethel Schuerman, treasurer; Anne Sanders, secretary.

The Pullman Farmers Market has named Joshua Piper as the market manager for the 2016 season and Karli Iseman as the media coordinator.

The Community Library Network has named Linda Mahon as the library manager at the Rathdrum Library and Jill Roche as the library manager at the Athol Library. Mahon was previously with the Coeur d’Alene Library and prior to that she was a high school librarian in western Montana. Roche was previously with the Post Falls branch for more than four years.

Skils’kin has promoted Cory Nuner from project manager for Skils’kin’s food services contract to project manager for the grounds contract at Fairchild Air Force Base. Prior to joining Skils’kin, Nuner was a supervisor for more than a decade in the Washington State corrections system. In addition, Ruth Cozzens has been promoted from assistant manager of the food services contract to project manager. Cozzens has been with Skils’kin since 2011 and previously worked as a job coach and supervisor.

Realty

Darci Ross and Jerry Kostelecky have joined Windermere North Spokane as brokers. Ross was previously the area sales manager for Safelite Autoglass. Kostelecky was previously the owner/inspector for Pillar to Post Home Inspection.

Jeff K. Johnson has been elected to serve on the 2016 board of directors for the Commercial Brokers Association. Johnson is the president of Black Commercial, Inc.
