To a resume that includes romance-novel cover model and dashing beefcake actor, Fabio can now add U.S. citizen.

Fabio, real name Fabio Lanzoni, the long-locked blond Italian who became a cultural phenomenon in the 1990s, became a naturalized American citizen on Wednesday.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said in a statement that Fabio was one of more than 6,000 people from more than 140 countries who took the Oath of Allegiance together at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Fabio, 57, said in the statement that it is one of the happiest days of his life and that the United States is the greatest country on Earth.

McGraw’s ‘Humble’ heading to print

Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind,” the hit single inspired by his daughter’s leaving for college, will soon become a book.

Hachette Books told the Associated Press on Thursday the bound edition of “Humble and Kind,” featuring the lyrics, illustrations and an introduction by the country star, will come out May 17. The book is timed, of course, for graduation season. Lori McKenna, who wrote the lyrics, contributes an epilogue.

McGraw said he is donating proceeds from the book to charity.

Prince Harry misses army, comrades

Prince Harry has said he was “broken” when a security breach forced him to quickly leave his military deployment in Afghanistan in 2008.

He told “Good Morning America” Thursday he felt he was abandoning men serving with him when security officials rushed him back to Britain after news of his frontline deployment was published.

He said his 10 years in the British army provided “the best escape I’ve ever had” and that he felt he was achieving something by being part of a team.

Harry was promoting the upcoming Invictus Games for wounded veterans.
