Manhunt continues in northern Idaho for stabbing suspect
SANDPOINT – Authorities in northern Idaho searching Friday for a man and woman wanted in connection with a stabbing death in southwest Idaho say a vehicle has been reported stolen in the area of the search.
Authorities have been looking for 32-year-old James Patrick Mancuso and his girlfriend, 27-year-old Ashley Nicoli Ford, since Wednesday afternoon when they eluded police after fleeing a northern Idaho traffic stop.
The vehicle was later found abandoned.
Mancuso faces a charge of 2nd degree murder, and an arrest warrant for Ford is for accessory to second degree murder.
The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office says a white 1991 Toyota extended cab pickup was reported stolen and authorities are asking anyone who spots it to call 911.
Mancuso is a suspect in the March 10 stabbing death of Robert Stevens in Nampa.
