Quinn Group Advertising & Marketing, in operation for 47 years and owned by Bonnie Quinn since 2005, is changing its name to QUINN. In addition, Jerry Quinn will be joining the company with 20 years of experience in digital advertising.

Finance

STCU has named Tracy Ballard as human resources director, Amanda Kirk as branch manager for the Coeur d’Alene Crossroads branch and Eli Brown as branch manager for the South Hill branch. Ballard was previously the employee-relations and benefits and compensation manager. She joined the credit union in 2012. Kirk served as as a loan and member service officer for STCU from 1996-2003 and rejoined the credit union in 2008. She most recently served as an assistant manager. Brown joined STCU as a teller at the Cheney branch in 2004. He was previously an assistant branch manager from 2011 to 2016.

Patrick Day, of Forster Financial, has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. To earn this designation, Day demonstrated specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement a certain standard of policies and procedures.

Health care

Shriners Hospital for Children Spokane has named Glen Baird as chief of staff. Baird joined the hospital in 1999 and served as assistant chief of staff for more than nine years. He is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who also teaches at the University of Washington School of Medicine as a courtesy clinical instructor and for Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences as an adjunct assistant professor.

Nonprofit

Dan Demchuk, of Moss Adams LLP, has been elected secretary/treasurer for the board of directors for the Blood Center Foundation of the Inland Northwest. In addition, the foundation recently awarded grants totaling $28,000 to support the local health care community.

Realty

Duane Byrd has joined Windermere’s Manito office as a sales associate and Amber Doyle has joined Windermere’s Spokane Valley office as a sales associate. Byrd was previously the president of KFC of CDA Inc. Doyle was previously with Live Real Estate.

Retail

The Harley-Davidson Motor Co. has awarded the Silver Bar and Shield Circle of Achievement award for 2015 to Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson. The award represents excellent customer service and sales performance.

Jacobs Custom Living, offering custom furniture and upholstery, has opened a location at 7503 N. Division St.
