Virginia Haidle went to be with the Lord peacefully on May 11, 2016 in Spokane, WA.

She was born in Laramie, Wyoming on July 28, 1927 to Linnea Viola Olson and Eric J. Olson.

Ginnie grew up in logging towns and entered High School in Laramie, WY.

The family moved in caravan with several other families to Sandpoint, ID where she graduated from high school.

Upon the early death of her mother, Ginnie took on the responsibilities of caring for her little sister Evie and their father.

During the summers she worked at Farragut Naval Base.

She enjoyed working at Albertson’s Bakery in Spokane while she attended Kinman Business University which enabled her to obtain a position as a bookkeeper for Cenex.

She married Chris Haidle on October 11, 1966, becoming a member of the large Haidle family.

After she retired she continued to use her bookkeeping skills to assist her son Garry in his home building business.

She was preceded in death by sister, Linnea and her husband, Chris.

Survivors include son, Garry Lee Nordgaarden; daughter-in-law, Paula Nordgaarden; granddaughter, Christine Brady; sister, Ellen Evalyn Bieberdorf; niece, Lori Dawn Haggans; nephew, Kevin Jon Bieberdorf; niece, Lisa Diane Fuller.

She also considered Paula’s children and grandchildren as her very own.

In her retirement years she enjoyed gardening, aerobics classes, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and was an avid sports fan.

The true love of her life was her son Garry who in her later years built her a home a block from his own.

In her last years they spent their afternoons together.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 21, 2016 at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N Division, Spokane at 11:00 am.
