Comcast’s Liberty Lake call center recognized

From staff reports

Comcast has received an award for its $7 million call center in Liberty Lake.

The center handles inbound customer retention and sales calls. Employment is expected to ramp up to 700 workers, with an estimated annual wages and benefits around $27 million.

Comcast’s award came from the Washington Economic Development Association, which named the call center the “recruitment project of the year.”

Greater Spokane Inc. worked closely with Comcast during the recruitment process. Site selectors first visited the area in 2014. A year later, Comcast announced it would build an 80,000-square-foot facility in the Meadowwood Technology Park.
