Spokane-based TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment will be sold for $6 million to a California company.

Both entities are subsidiaries of Red Lion Hotels Corp., which announced the sale to Irvine-based Paciolan on Wednesday.

WestCoast Entertainment brings the “Best of Broadway” and other shows and concerts to the Northwest. TicketsWest is a ticketing and marketing group.

Both entities will operate as subsidiaries of Paciolan, which describes itself as the second-largest primary ticketing provider in North America. TicketsWest has had a long-running business relationship with Paciolan through the use of its software, TicketsWest’s President Dusty Kurtz said.

No timeline was given for the close of the sale.

TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment were founded in Spokane in 1987, said WestCoast Entertainment President Jack Lucas said.

“They’re homegrown companies that will continue to stay in Spokane,” he said.

All employees will keep their jobs, including Kurtz and Lucas, they said.

TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment have offices in Spokane, Portland and Denver. The number of employees was not disclosed.
