Sierra Perez leads Columbia Basin women past North Idaho

Sierra Perez came off the bench and scored a game-high 32 points to propel the visiting Columbia Basin Hawks (18-7, 10-4) to a 93-76 victory over the North Idaho Cardinals (12-12, 5-8) in Northwest Athletic Conference play.

Emily Botkin finished with a double-double – 16 points, game-high 12 rebounds – and Cayla Jones just missed the feat with 19 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks.

Whitney Meier topped the Cardinals with 25 points. Charity Marlatt scored 17, while Giavanna Sorn and Cierra Dvorak chipped in with 15 and 13 points, respectively, for NIC.
