Cesar Sandoval scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to propel the Community Colleges of Spokane Sasquatch (21-5, 10-3) to an 88-65 victory over the visiting Wenatchee Valley Knights (9-16, 5-8) in Northwest Athletic Conference men’s basketball action on Wednesday.
Levi Taylor added 18 points and nine boards and Orin Porter scored 19 for the Sasquatch.
North Idaho 83, Blue Mountain 55: Nico Bevens and Tyrus Hosley scored 15 apiece and the Cardinals (24-3, 12-2) rolled to a win over the visiting Timberwolves (4-20, 2-12) in NWAC play.
Jalen Burkett added 10 points and tied for game-high honors with seven rebounds for NIC.
CC Spokane 85, Wenatchee Valley 54: Bri King scored 38 points and the Sasquatch (21-3, 12-1) routed the visiting Knights (8-16, 3-10) at SCC.
King went 15 of 19 from the field, including 7 of 9 on 3-point attempts. Kayltn Ward and Janessa Heine added 12 points apiece.
North Idaho 79, Blue Mountain 58: Cierra Dvorak scored 28 points with seven rebounds and the Cardinals (13-12, 6-8) handled the visiting Timberwolves (3-18, 1-13).
Dvorak went 10 of 15 from the field and 8 of 9 from the line. Giavanna Sorn scored 13 points with nine boards, Kassin Hopkins added 12 points for NIC.
