Free swimming right move

A special thank you to the Spokane Park Board for bringing back the free swimming for Spokane citizens or others wishing to swim.

Jack Dean was a valued member of the Spokane community who passed away a number of years ago. He always supported free swimming and took a strong stand whenever it came up. Finally, those of us who stood with him all those years, were disappointed to see fees added to the Parks budget. Jack always believed that free swimming benefited the entire community.

Jack Dean must be singing his praises now to realize that this is a terrific move and will be a great asset once again. Happy summer to Spokane swimmers!
